Fathauer and Hadwin Did Us Proud

By September 22, 2014Headlines, Tour News

Derek Fathauer couldn’t have asked for a better finish to the season after picking up the tournament win, the overall playoff crown and #1 priority for the PGA Tour with his career-defining win at the Web.com Tour Championship. It was a dream ending to the year for Adam Hadwin, who locked up the money list title and #1 priority too.

The two University of Louisville alums made it a big week for #TeamCallaway, and here’s what the two new PGA Tour members used to get the job done.

Derek Fathauer WITB – Web.com Tour Championship

Here’s a look at some of the key equipment in Derek’s bag:

Big Bertha Driver (10.5-degree)

Big Bertha V Series 3-wood (15-degree)

X2 Hot Pro Hybrid (20-degree)

Apex Irons (4-9)

Odyssey Tank #7 Putter

He led the field in Putts Per GIR on the week and was T1 in the field in birdies.

His first Tour win capped off a season that saw him post 8 top-10s and secure his card before the finals even started – he was 13th on the regular season money list. Congratulations, Derek. We’ll see you on the big Tour very soon!

Adam Hadwin WITB – Web.com Tour Championship

And here are some of the key clubs in Adam’s bag:

Big Bertha V Series Driver (10.5-degree)

Apex Utility Iron (2-iron model)

Apex Pro Irons (5-PW)

Mack Daddy 2 Tour Grind Wedge (52-degree)

Mack Daddy 2 Wedge (56-degree)

Mack Daddy 2 Tour Grind Wedge (60-degree)

A Callaway SR 3 Golf Ball

Odyssey Tank Cruiser V-Line Putter

The proud Callaway staffer had a Player of the Year type season that included two wins, highlighted by his victory earlier this month at the Chiquita Classic, and the season money title. He’s no stranger to playing on the PGA Tour, and he should make an impact right out of the gate for the 2014-2015 season.

Congratulations to Adam, and while we’re at it, congratulations to our guys Andres Gonzales, Colt Knost, Tony Finau, Sam Saunders and Jonathan Randolph who also locked up their cards for next season.

Odyssey Dominates The Putter Count

Odyssey handily won the Web.com Tour Championship putter count this week with 44.6% of the putters in play. Wow!
