It’s official, Ollie Schniederjans is the newest member of Team Callaway! The former World #1 Amateur capped off an awesome run at the last two major championships with a final round 67 at St Andrews. Then he turned professional the next day, and quickly signed his first Staff Pro agreement with Callaway.
In addition to being the top ranked amateur in the world for 41 consecutive weeks (beginning in June of 2014), Ollie was a 3x NCAA All-American at Georgia Tech, a 2x Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Player of the Year, and the 2014 Mark H. McCormack Medal winner presented by the R&A.
This summer, he was in contention at Chambers Bay and then at St Andrews he made a huge final round charge to get into serious contention. It was a storybook ending to his incredible amateur career.
At 22, Schniederjans will add to Callaway’s roster of star players who are 25-years-old and under, joining Danny Lee, Patrick Reed, Tony Finau, Ryo Ishikawa, Matteo Manassero, Lydia Ko, and Brun, among them.
As a Full Callaway Staffer, he will use Callaway clubs, balls, gloves and an Odyssey Putter. You can follow him on Twitter @ollie_gt. Welcome to the team, Ollie!
