They’ll be showing Lydia Ko’s approach on the final hole of the ANA Inspiration for as long as LPGA major championships are played. From 88 yards out, Lydia stuck her wedge to kick-in range for the winning birdie, her second consecutive major championship and her 12th LPGA Tour title.

She had all Callaway in the bag (of course), and here’s some of the key equipment that she used to win yet another major, and take her victory leap into Poppie’s Pond.
- XR 16 Pro Driver (10.5*)
- Apex Pro Irons (5-PW) – Recoil 67 F3 Shafts
- Mack Daddy 2 Tour Grind Wedges (54*, 58*)
- Odyssey White Hot Pro 2-Ball Putter
- A Chrome Soft Prototype Golf Ball
Lydia first put in her XR 16 Pro Driver two weeks ago in Arizona, where she finished 2nd and hit over 80% of fairways for the week. Then last week in Carlsbad, Ca, she hit over 75% of fairways, including 25 of 28 over her final two rounds on the way to her victory at the Kia Classic. She has told our Callaway Tour Reps that she particularly likes how straight that she hit the driver during testing on the range and on the course.
She also moved into a Chrome Soft Prototype Golf Ball last week in her win at the Kia Classic. Her Mack Daddy 2 Tour Grind Wedges have been in her bag all year long, and they came up big for her when she needed them most. Just an incredible win by the best women’s golfer on the planet!
.@LydiaKo thanked ANA in Japanese. She's a pro's pro and tremendous role model. A giver, a comedian (at times), a competitor and a champion.
