Paige Spiranac Collects First Professional Win

What’s more clutch? Shooting a final-round 68 to get into a playoff…or beating the No. 1 ranked amateur in the world (Hannah O’Sullivan) in said playoff to win your first professional tournament?

Well Callaway Staffer Paige Spiranac did both on June 1 at the Orange Tree Golf Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz., the 16th Cactus Tour event of the season. Her rounds of 71-74-68 (-3 total) came on the heels of a brief hiatus in which she worked extensively on a few swing changes with her coach (and excellent player in his own right) Tyler Hall. Last week she used a final-round 69 to finish T3 at the Lookout Mountain event.

A few of her equipment highlights include:

– Apex 16 Irons

– XR 16 Hybrids

– MD3 Wedges (these amazing ones below…)

And of course social media was quick to congratulate the 23-year-old San Diego State alum…

Won my first tournament as a professional today on the Cactus Tour! Shot 71,74,68. #canactuallybreak80
