What’s more clutch? Shooting a final-round 68 to get into a playoff…or beating the No. 1 ranked amateur in the world (Hannah O’Sullivan) in said playoff to win your first professional tournament?
Well Callaway Staffer Paige Spiranac did both on June 1 at the Orange Tree Golf Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz., the 16th Cactus Tour event of the season. Her rounds of 71-74-68 (-3 total) came on the heels of a brief hiatus in which she worked extensively on a few swing changes with her coach (and excellent player in his own right) Tyler Hall. Last week she used a final-round 69 to finish T3 at the Lookout Mountain event.
