What Clubs Did NBA Stars Steph Curry & Andre Iguodala Get Fit for At Callaway?


A day before their preseason game in San Diego against the Lakers, Golden State Warrior stars (and notable golf addicts) Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala dropped by the Ely Callaway Performance Center for a late afternoon fitting.

Curry, who plays to a scratch, plus-1, plus-3, 1.0, or Handicap Index depending who you ask, put on an absolute stripeshow reminiscent of his uncanny shooting ability. The reigning 2-time NBA MVP was consistently pounding the XR 16 3+ fairway wood between 288-295 yards (we have proof below) and was particularly fond of the Apex Pro irons.

Meanwhile, 2015 NBA Finals MVP Iguodala, who brought along his swing coach, was putting a serious move on the ball and consistently piped drives 300+ yards with XR 16.

Andre: XR 16 Driver (8°), XR 16 3-wood, Steelhead XR Hybrid (19°), Apex 16 Irons (4-PW), Odyssey Works Tank Cruiser 7 (38.5″).
