Golfing for Houston

By September 1, 2017Headlines

This weekend, Callaway staff pro Patrick Reed will be competing in his fifth Dell Technologies Championship.  But this year he’s giving us a new reason to root for him and giving himself a new reason to play his best.  He’s announced that for every eagle and birdie he makes, a donation will be made to the Saint Bernard Project to bolster the Houston recovery effort.

As a Houston resident, Reed feels the need to help rebuild his home after the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.  Fortunately, he’s found a way to help his community while playing the sport he loves.

In addition to having already made a sizable donation to the SBP, the Team Reed Foundation, along with Callaway and several of Reed’s other sponsors, have pledged $4,000 for each of his birdies and $8,000 for each eagle.

Callaway is proud to support Patrick and Houston’s other residents by matching his donation.  Those affected by the recent tragedy will remain in our thoughts.
