Augusta Preview: The 15 Callaway Staffers In The Field

In case you’re having trouble about who to root on this year at Augusta,  we have 15 of our world-class Callaway staffers (with a great mix of first-time competitors, rising stars, and major champions) for you to put at the top of your list.

Let’s take a look at who they are…

Phil Mickelson

26th tournament appearance, including 3 wins (2004, 2006, 2010).

Lefty is one of the all-time greats at this event, he’s on the short list of favorites this week, and he can work the ball like no one else, as you can see in this new video:

Sergio Garcia

20th tournament appearance. Defending Champion.

Sergio captured his first major championship here last year in a dramatic playoff finish. Now he’s a new dad and he’s playing great. Can he make it back-to-back wins?

Henrik Stenson

13th tournament appearance. Best Finish T14 (2014).

He’s one of the best players in the world, and he’s putting lights out this year. All is aligning perfectly for him to get his second major win (won the Open in 2016).

Alex Noren

2nd tournament appearance. World No. 15.

He’s the best player casual golf fans still don’t know. Noren has been one of the hottest players in the world with top-5 finishes at Torrey Pines, The Honda Classic, and the WGC-Match Play Championship.

Marc Leishman

6th tournament appearance. Two PGA Tour wins in 2017. Best Finish T4 (2013).

Leishman has a good history at Augusta, and he’s coming off the best year of his career.

Kevin Kisner

3rd tournament appearance. Two-time PGA Tour winner.

“Kiz” lives just 20 minutes away from Augusta. He’s a great putter too, and he has a quick Odyssey roll call tip to help you hit solid putts every time.

Danny Willett

4th tournament appearance. 2016 Champion.

Danny won his first major at Augusta two years ago with a brilliant final round 67. It’s still one of the best final round performances in recent major history.

Xander Schauffele

1st tournament appearance. 2017 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year.

The first-year Callaway staffer is making his Augusta debut this week. His strong putting should help on these world-famous greens.

Daniel Berger

3rd tournament appearance. Two-time PGA Tour winner.

One of the best young players in the game, Berger can rack up a lot of birdies in a hurry.

Branden Grace

6th tournament appearance. 11 European Tour wins. Best Finish T18 (2013).

“Gracie” has played his way into contention at several majors. And he’s one of the best drivers of the ball and is one of the toughest competitors in the game.

Thomas Pieters

2nd tournament appearance. 3 European Tour wins. T4 Finish in 2017.

Pieters nearly won this event last year with a strong final round performance. A well-rounded player, his game is well suited for the biggest events.

Wesley Bryan

1st tournament appearance. 2017 Heritage winner.

An Augusta-native, Wesley also lives right by the course and he’ll have a lot of fans following him in his tournament debut.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat

2nd tournament appearance. Six-time European Tour winner.

Kiradech already has a win under his belt this year and he has a sweet touch around the greens.

Adam Hadwin

2nd tournament appearance. 2017 Valspar Championship winner.

Last year, Adam won in March to qualify for the event and had to move his honeymoon as a result. This year, he was able to plan his Augusta trip well in advance.

Si-Woo Kim

2nd tournament appearance. 2017 PLAYERS Champion.

Si-Woo burst onto the scene with two wins last season. And he’s no stranger to playing well on the biggest stages.
