Callaway has been winning driver counts at some of the world’s biggest events, and this week we’re the #1 Driver and #1 Fairway Wood at the U.S. Women’s Open. That makes us 2-for-2 in LPGA major counts this year!
The numbers are eye-catching:
– We have 47 Callaway drivers in play at the U.S. Women’s Open and 40 of them are played by non-staffers who choose to use our equipment simply for the performance.
– We have 94 Fairway Woods in play this week (36.6%) of the field, which is far and away the most of any brand.
– Odyssey is the #1 Putter with over 41% of the putters in play. That makes Odyssey 5-for-5 in major counts this year across the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours. Michelle Wie is also off to a great start with her new O-Works Red Marxman Putter.
– Additionally, on the European Tour, Rogue is the #1 Driver model again this week at the Italian Open.
The world’s best players have showed us just how much they like our innovative Jaibreak Technology, with two Jailbreak Bars inside the clubhead that stiffen the crown and sole. This allows the face to take on more impact load to promote faster ball speed, and also allows us to utilize our new X-Face VFT that promotes even more ball speed across an expansive area of the face.
You can find Jailbreak in the Rogue Driver (already the #1 selling driver model in the U.S. this year) and in Rogue Fairway Woods (already the #1 selling Fairway Wood model in the U.S. this year). Tour players are dominating with our equipment, and it looks like it’s only getting better.
