In the second PGA Tour stop of the 2019 season, Australian Marc Leishman shot a final round 65 en route to a 5 shot victory at the CIMB Classic. Leishman putted the ball extremely well at TPC Kuala Lumpur, accumulating 28 birdies and tying the tournament scoring record of 26-under par. Check out the equipment he had in the bag when he earned his fourth PGA Tour win.
Tournament: CIMB Classic
Leishman has been playing the Callaway Rogue Driver and Chrome Soft X Golf Ball since the beginning of 2018. Off the driver, he particularly likes the combination of ball speed and the forgiveness that allows for tighter dispersion and better accuracy off of his tee shots.
Marc has played the Rogue Sub Zero Fairway Woods throughout the year and especially likes the options that it provides him on certain tee shots. The Rogue fairway woods are the first to feature Jailbreach Technology.
For the Chrome Soft X Golf Ball, Marc especially likes the speed off the driver and the spin and control he gets into the green. The new Graphene infused Dual Soft Fast Core helps maximize compression and provide that added speed with less spin.
Leishman’s shot creativity and play around greens helped him finish inside the top-5 in scrambling this week. His 46º and 54º Mack Daddy 4 Wedges feature Groove in Groove Technology which provides him with enhanced spin and control.
Marc leaned heavily on his flat stick in Kuala Lampur, leading the field in birdies and putts per green in regulation. His Odyssey Versa #1 Wide Red Putter features Odyssey’s innovative Versa high contrast alignment in red and white and he likes how that helps him find the right line on his putts.
