Weather delays and a forced Monday finish couldn't keep Sergio Garcia from securing his third Andalucia Valderrama Masters championship. Sergio separated himself from the field in the second round, when he shot a 7-under 64, and tied his career low round at Real Club Valderrama. His pinpoint accuracy off of the tee and into greens were integral in capturing his 6th win on Spanish turf. Check out what he Sergio had in the bag when he took home the trophy in his host event.
Tournament: Andalucia Valderrama Masters
Rogue Sub Zero
Sergio’s Rogue Sub-Zero driver has been his favorite club in the bag since adding it to his arsenal at the beginning of the year. In addition to seeing added ball speed, carry and distance with Rogue, he is confident working the ball left and right with it. Sergio hit 75% of fairways off the tee this week at Valderrama Golf Club en route to victory.
Sergio’s ability to control trajectory and shape shots with the Apex MB Irons made adding them to the bag an easy decision. The Apex Muscleback Irons feature a classic shape and style, with a slightly thinner topline. His iron play this week was fantastic, hitting 75% of greens in regulation.
Sergio’s new Odyssey Toulon Atlanta Putter features European-themed yellow, blue and white paint fills on the bottom, back, and sides of the putter head. The side of the putter is also designed with stars to represent the European flag and each of his European Team starts.
