Danny Willet closed out the 2018 European Tour season with a two stroke victory at the DP World Tour Championship. Willett averaged 302.4 yards per drive on the week with his Rogue driver. Rogue employs enhanced Jailbreak Technology that stiffens the crown and sole. The stiffer body allows the face to take on more impact load for faster ball speed.
With an 18º, 21º, and 24º X-Forged UT in the bag, Willet loves the control and carry that he gets off of the tee and in the fairway with his utility irons. The CG in the X-Forged UT irons is strategically positioned in the middle of the face for maximum ball speed and straighter flight.
Willett likes the turf interaction and precision of the X-Forged mid-irons. The triple 20V grooves that are featured on them promote a high level of control and excellent spin out of any course condition.
The DP World Tour Champion made 28 birdies and an eagle this week with the Chrome Soft X Golf Gall. The Graphene Dual Soft Fast Core featured in the Chrome Soft X adds distance off the tee while still providing a soft feel around the greens.
Willetts’s Mack Daddy 4 Wedges feature Groove in Groove Technology that promote spin and control around greens. He is confident hitting shots in the fairway, out of the sand and around the green using his MD4 wedges.
Willett’s gamer is a new Odyssey Prototype that he first put it in last week at the Nedbank Challenge. Willett’s putter also features a new prototype Odyssey shaft to help improve the consistency of the putting stroke, and a revolutionary new weighting system.
